Description

Chitlang is a beautiful village located in Makwanpur district, Narayani zone. It is about southwest, 22 km in distance ( 1.5 hrs drive) to Kathmandu. It is a mainly newer settlement medieval era village. Also, the place has inscriptions dating back to Licchavi era.  During your Homestay, you can get a chance to hear the various stories related to this place for elder people. Far from the modern amenities, you will get a chance to experience the traditional way of living. The lush forests in the surrounding comprising more than 160 species of birds, peach gardens, scenic beauty of nature, the ethnic cultural lifestyle of the people living here are the special features of Chitlang.

Day 01: Drive to Chitlang
Morning drive to Thankot and Hiking to Chitlang. Upon arrival refreshment. After lunch enjoys the view of Naspati garden. Afternoon visit Bhairab temple, village walk in Newari tribes and Satdhara (or jungle walk with local jungle guide).  Evening campfire. 
Dinner at 8 PM. Overnight stays in the Resort Hotel.

Day 02: Back to Kathmandu
Early breakfast and hike down to Indra Sarobar Lake. Boating.  Lunch at Kulekhani.
Afternoon back to Kathmandu.
